January Wishlist 2012

I own quite a few cashmere sweaters from Zadig & Voltaire; and may I tell you, they are soft as a baby's face. Winter has been quite hard on me these days, and it has been especially windy. Even though the sweater itself is quite thin and light, it keeps me warm like better than a thick-knit jumper.

2. ASOS Mini Quilted Backpack, $49.25, buy here

To be completely honest, I'm starting to get tired of the hassle that comes with carrying shoulder bags or satchels. Sometimes I just want to sling them on my back just to save myself from the heavy pain on my arms. I've been growing more fond of backpacks, and now that I found this super cute, beige quilted bag on ASOS, I think I've found my true love, guys. Quilted patterns are one of my favourite things, as I may have mentioned in my December wishlist.

3. Lime Crime Velvetine in Red Velvet, $16.99, buy here

Usually I don't much makeup on my eyes at all, but I love the look of a bright lip for any given occasion. However, most lipsticks smudge and stain everywhere, but this Lime Crime Velvetine is more between a lip lacquer and a lip stain. It dries completely matte and a truly velvet texture.

4. ASOS Heart Burnout Lens Sunglasses, $26.39, buy here

I initially was thinking about getting heart-shaped sunglasses. Kind of Lolita-esq, but I ended up stumbling across these Burnout Heart shaped lenses and here we are. Looking at the gorgeous amber colour and trying to resist the temptation. But no, the temptation is there. It comes off strong. Too unfortunate, they are actually sold out at the moment, but let's pray for our lives that they'll come back.

5. ROMWE Scenic Painting Print Umbrella Skirt, $36.99, buy here

I have to say, the new ROMWE painting collection is my type of cake. It has quite a bit of vintage feel with the religious paintings. This skirt goes very well along with the Balmain F/W 2012 collection that I admired so much.

6. ASOS Legacy Ballet Flats, $40, buy here

Yes, I've expressed lots of love for both ASOS and everything velvet. But really, you have to admit, these velvet flats are so adorable, almost just as adorable as the Charlotte Olympia Kitty Embroidered Velvet Flats. On second thought, the CO flats are £465, while the ASOS ones are $40, so that makes the latter a ton more adorable.
